Elevated Surf
Windansea is definitely showing its surf-spot colors today, with an elevated surf advisory and waves running 5-6 ft. That big swell is getting focused by the reef, making for a proper washing machine out there. The estimated visibility today is 0-5 ft, and the 4.8 mph SW cross-onshore wind isn't doing anything to help clean things up.

Site Notes
Primarily a surf spot — the famous reef focuses swell energy and turns the lineup into the Windansea break. Only enterable on small, clean days; conditions degrade faster here than at neighboring Marine Street or La Jolla Cove. West-facing with no shelter from NW swell. Watch for surfers in the water.
